Meet the Flock!

Willa

"Plain" Jane

"Plain" Jane

Black and white goat named Willa in a barn with straw bedding.

Willa is a female Katahdin sheep from our local farm. We named her Willa because of the big white 'W' on her side. She is quite stubborn and bossy with the other farm animals, including our Nubian goats, as she tries to assert her dominance in the herd at Palmyra Point.

"Plain" Jane

"Plain" Jane

"Plain" Jane

A brown sheep named Jane inside a barn with other animals.

Jane is a female Katahdin sheep on our local farm. We affectionately call her 'Plain' Jane because she isn't as colorful or interactive as the other farm animals, but we have discovered that she is VERY observant and loves her animal crackers, just like our Nubian goats do!

Thelma

"Plain" Jane

Thelma

A brown and white goat named Thelma standing on straw inside a wooden enclosure.

Thelma is a female Nubian goat at our local farm, known as Palmyra Point. She has had babies before but unfortunately lost her twins last year when she was butted in the side. As the Alpha goat, we affectionately call her Momma Thelma because she fiercely protects the younger kids, just like any good guardian among the farm animals.

Louise

Louise

Thelma

A brown and white goat named Louise standing on straw indoors.

Louise is a female Nubian goat at our local farm, Palmyra Point. This season marks her first opportunity to become a momma. She is very sweet and patient, waiting her turn for food and treats alongside the other farm animals, including our Katahdin sheep.

Pal

Louise

Myra

Two goats, one black and one brown, cuddle inside a wooden shelter.

Pal is a male Nubian goat from our local farm. He is a wether, which means his reproductive parts have been removed, allowing him to socialize with both the ladies and dudes without any issues. Friendly and curious, Pal is always eager to interact with other farm animals, including the Katahdin sheep nearby, and he is ALWAYS HUNGRY!

Myra

Louise

Myra

Young brown and white goat named Myra standing in a wooden pen.

Myra is a female Nubian goat, one of our cherished farm animals here at Palmyra Point. She is our little princess, born just last year, and is full of sass and spirit. Myra and her best friend Pal often hang out together, creating a delightful bond. We are hopeful that Myra will someday become the great Matron of our goat dynasty, alongside our Katahdin sheep and other beloved animals on our local farm.

Hank

Hank

Hank

A brown and white goat grazing on a hillside in a forest.

Hank is our newest addition to the local farm, a male Katahdin sheep. His name comes from the fact that his beard makes him look like Hank Williams Jr. He is currently hanging with the herd, which also includes our Nubian goats, but will need a separate pen in the spring!

Daisy is a female Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd mix who helps protect our local farm, where we raise Katahdin sheep and Nubian goats. She and her sister Bluebell are rescues and our working dogs! Daisy Mae is smart and feisty, always on the lookout for small critters and coyotes that might threaten the farm animals. Her favorite thing is getting leftover people food and nuggies in her dog food while enjoying her time at Palmyra Point.
