We take pride in offering farm-to-table products that utilize as many local ingredients as possible. Whether you're interested in learning about sustainable farming practices or simply want to enjoy a day in nature, Palmyra Point Hobby Farm has something for everyone. Join us for a unique experience that connects you with the land and its bounty.
Originally part of a 160-acre parcel awarded to a militia man from the War of 1812 as part of his pension, the farm itself wasn't truly developed until years later when it was purchased by George T. Fitz on January 2nd, 1880. Next door to Palmyra Point are the original farmhouse and stone barn, which began construction in 1880 and were completed around 1903. Walk just down the trail from our house, and you can find the original hand-dug well from the 1880s!
